Challenge Launch, Snowballing, & Changing Everything

Earlier this morning, Raj for Congress launched the Joe Biden 7-11 Challenge. From the moment this initiative began, the energy level has increased exponentially.

It is not the result of a momentary burst. It began last Thursday with Raj’s appearance on the Hugh Hewitt show. The momentum then rose on Friday and Saturday as blogs including the Iowa Voice and the Urban Grind reprinted Raj’s reaction. The crescendo occurred this afternoon as donors both large and small took up the challenge.

This thing is snowballing. Friday night Raj was on Philadelphia radio and again on Monday morning.

That is our campaign. If you have ever been in politics, you know this is the time that is special. Each day, as we enter and exit the office, we know we are creating something special.

I have always believed in People Powered Politics and this medium. I have always known in my heart of hearts that the internet and blogs could and will change everything.

I don't think I have ever seen a blog for a young candidate so dead. I guess everyone is right. you don't have any shot at getting elected.

Hey, don't discount the power of that exponentially increasing campaign energy.

For instance, you might consider an Inquirer columnist pointing out the libelous content in your campaign literature as a major setback. But you're wrong. Having to worry about possible lawsuits - that's more campaign energy. Nervous energy, to be sure. But energy nonetheless.

How much more similar "energy" can be created? Based on how this campaign operates, I'd say that the sky is the limit.
