Chicago Tribune Highlights Raj on the Border

From the Chicago Tribune:

WHAT A CIRCUS: Raj Peter Bhakta, a Pennsylvania Republican running for the U.S. House and a former contestant on NBC's "The Apprentice," took his campaign to the Texas-Mexico border Tuesday. The Brownsville Herald reported that Bhakta paraded three elephants and a six-piece mariachi band along the Rio Grande to show that border security was lax....

Raj was never in Mexico... he pulled his stunt on private property (misinforming the landowner... and the elephants' owner) which the BP wouldn't have patrolled anyway. He violated several agricultural laws (it was the Dept. of Agriculture Tick Riders that stopped him) and... he didn't have any papers on him to prove he was a U.S. citizen, so was held by ICE for 4 hours.

What his little stunt cost the taxpayers is still being calculated. I hope that dolt has a good attorney. What a friggin' moron!
