Police have identified three people fatally shot on Thursday and a fourth person shot earlier in the week who also died.

The killings brought the murder total to 310 this year, compared with 288 during the same time period last year, an 8 percent increase. The latest deaths come on the heels of a violent week in which 15 people were killed, including two 17-year-olds, a baby and grandmother of three.
