BUILD MORE JAILS

A federal civil-rights lawsuit was filed last month on behalf of inmates complaining of poor living conditions because of overpopulation. The suit calls for the release of inmates back into the community if conditions don’t improve.

Hmmm…How about another solution –BUILD MORE JAILS!

Congratulations Notre Dame

Notre Dame defeats Georgia Tech 14-10.

Notre Dame found itself in a defensive struggle, which didn't happen very often last season.

The Fighting Irish knew how to handle it.

Brady Quinn and hometown favorite Darius Walker each ran for a touchdown Saturday night as No. 2 Notre Dame, with its highest preseason ranking since 1994, rallied for a 14-10 victory over Georgia Tech.

Our Condolences to The Family of Mayor Bob O'Connor

PhillyBurbs.com eulogizes Pittsburgh Mayor.

Mayor Bob O'Connor, who learned he had a rare form of brain cancer only seven months into his term, died Friday night, his spokesman said. He was 61.

O'Connor died at about 8:55 p.m., with family members present, at UPMC Shadyside hospital, where he had been treated since being diagnosed with a rare form of primary central nervous system lymphoma in July, spokesman Dick Skrinjar said.

"I can't just help but feel that this is an overwhelming tragedy for Pittsburgh," former mayor Sophie Masloff said. "Bob really loved Pittsburgh. ... It was too brief a time for Bob to be mayor, but in that time he demonstrated outstanding leadership."
